Current systems that send APIS transmissions using the e-MAIL method, can continue to do so
without any changes to their system. The only change that will have to be made is WHEN the
manifest data is sent. The APIS1.com system will accept e-mail transmission of APIS data
directly into the APIS1.com system, and the APIS1.com system will process the data, store it
in it's own database system, and transmit the new specification UN/EDIFACT to CBP.
After transmitting the manifest to CBP, the APIS1.com system will monitor all CBP traffic and
automatically e-mail back boarding pass clearance information and any last-minute changes to
statuses by CBP. These e-mails would be handled just like the old-style "Notification of Receipts".
After check-in has completed, you can use the same method you are using now to send a NEW manifest
containing all the required APIS information and APIS1.com will update the manifest records and
transmit the final manifest data to CBP, accordingly.
EASY INTEGRATION INTO EXISTING
RESERVATION AND DEPARTURE CONTROL SYSTEMS:
The APIS1.com system can accept incoming data from your existing system and automatically
extract out the pertinant flight, passenger, and APIS data. Passenger Name Lists (PNL's) are
the most common format used to communicate manifests back and forth between Departure Control
Systems (DCS's). PNL, as well as all other common formats, can automatically be imported into
the APIS1.com system which will then create a CBP Manifest, transmit it to CBP, and monitor
the communications from CBP pertaining to that manifest.
When the manifest boarding status messages come in from CBP for your manifest, the APIS1.com
system will automatically send your DCS system the updated boarding clearance status so it is
available to be viewed by your check-in terminal system. Because there is no "standard" for
boarding pass issuance status, to keep backwards compatibility, a special SSR
(Special Service Request) message will be added to each passenger's PNR record indicating the
CBP status for each passenger.
Messaging between your system and the APIS1.com system can be via e-mail, ARINC or SITA, or by
direct secure SSL XML internet protocol.
GDS BASED CONNECTIVITY:
Systems that use IATA GDS communications (AIRIMP) can integrate into the APIS1.com system
as well. The APIS1.com system can accept AIRIMP Passenger Name Records (PNR's), PNL and ADL
messages to build and manage the manifests. The APIS1.com system can automatically transmit
CBP manifests at the required times, monitor for booking changes and communicate all necessary
changes to CBP as necessary. Incoming messages from CBP can then be translated by the APIS1.com
system and send update messages into the GDS system to facilitate adding in the boarding status
information into each PNR record.
XML LIVE COMMUNICATION:
The APIS1.com system enabled live real-time XML communication between your systems and the
APIS1.com system. This powerful feature allows you to easily customize any application to
send individual booking data, entire manifests, or any combination into the APIS1.com system.
The APIS1.com system will automatically handle messaging to and from CBP, and will allow you
to query the status of entire flights or individual passengers at any time.
CheckTSA.com FRONT END:
CheckTSA.com has been in operation since 2004, handling automated TSA vetting for passengers and
employees. CheckTSA.com is the front-end for simplified manifest vetting operations. The CheckTSA.com
system has a direct link into the APIS1.com system and is an all-in-one solution for any aircraft
operator who does not have an integrated system already.
The CRS Manager is a system designed to handle everything from taking reservations via a
web portal, handling GDS booking from all the GDS CRS Systems (SABRE, WORLDSPAN, etc.), all the
